Blue Crab

Callinectes sapidus

Description:

As mating season end, and the last month of the year came, the Blue crab, AKA "jaibas" by locals, hit shore to lay their eggs and then return to fresh water.

Habitat:

The blue crab habit fresh water, but they realse their eggs in the sea, this mean that they have to cross dangeorus highways resulting in the killing of houndreds of crabs.
