Anacridium aegyptum

Description:

Part of the locust family acrididae. Large, impressive grasshopper between 10-15cm in length. Distinctive red stripe on the leg, as shown in the second photo. Has a mottled grey/brown appearance.

I'm a little tentative with the ID for this fellar, so if anyone's got a different suggestion, please suggest it.
