We found this baby bird in our yard this afteroon. my husband was cleaning up after Hurricane Irene and found 2 birds one had expired. I do not want this poor bird to die, what do I do with this poor bird. Im sure animal control would just toss this bird.
Im in New Jersey, anyone have any ideas what I can do to help this bird???

Do a web search for bird or wildlife rescue in your area.
Looks like it might be some sort of shore bird I would call animal control
