Tephrosia spicata
From the "Field Guide to the Wildflowers of Georgia and the Surrounding States" - found in dry to moist woodlands and clearings throughout Georgia. Stems grow up to 3 feet long and sprawling. Flowers are 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch long. They start white and turn maroon with age. Flowers June through August.
