Thanks, Ashish, it's interesting to learn these things. Sometimes you can't tell the size of a flower or insect very easily from the photograph - I would not have guessed it was smaller than an iris.

Hi.. Dangermouse.. This is typical Fabaceae family flower... lot smaller than Iris flowers.

I knew it wasn't an iris, could tell by the foliage, but it looks like an iris flower. Beautiful plant.
