It is very likely Birdseye speedwell (Veronica persica)

Veronica quite gets around, so many subsp. I rememer I heard of over 260

I think you're right. I give it some thought.
And yes, every detail is relevant, whether color, structure, texture, size or habitat. They all help to ID them in the end.

Hmm, I'm not convinced, the coloring and texture of the petals are slightly different, and these have two pollen antennae (or whatever you call them, see bottom right flower for example). I'm new to the game, so not sure if those observations are relevant.
