Wood Frog

Rana sylvatica

Description:

This wood frog was doing a great impression of a fallen leaf. This is probably the largest wood frog I've ever found. The coloration on this individual was incredible, ranging from pink to copper. Most that I find are much smaller and a more uniform tan or bronze.

Habitat:

Grassy meadow.
