(False) Sea Lemon

Archidoris montereyensis

Description:

A yellow to orange dorid nudibranch. May come with black spots. Found them in the summer on rocky outcroppings in an estuary. Does not seem to emit fruity odor.

Habitat:

Rocky outcroppings where sponge can be eaten.

Notes:

Very phenotypically variable.

Ah, found it. Apparently it's the False Sea Lemon, Archidoris.
