Scudder's Bush Katydid nymph

Scudderia sp

Description:

This tiny nymph is in its second instar. The egg tooth is still visible on the top of the head. It has multiple colors on body and black & white striped legs and antenna. Adult Mexican Bush Katydid's were found in the same area so this may be one of their nymphs.

Habitat:

On currently unknown leaf in backyard near Perez's Sea Lavender and Lantana http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/727...

Notes:

Despite it being out of focus, the video is really cute of a Scudder's Bush Katydid Nymph in its first instar. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of this to make it a separate spotting.
