Mallard Duck

Anas platyrhynchos

Description:

I found this little duck by the mouth of Logan Canyon. It was in a big group by a pond but I was only able to take a good quality picture of this Mallard duck. It is a brown color with peachy colored feet!

Habitat:

Mallard ducks live in wetland habitats and can usually be found in any body of water near you. Mallard ducks are usually found in saltwater and brackish bodies of water.
