Daffodils

Narcissus

Description:

I planted daffodil bulbs all around the houes in the front, back and side garden in 2007 , the year we moved to Elmwood Court. They have now multiplied and add nice splashes of white, yellow and orange colors in Spring.

Habitat:

Mostly spring-flowering, bulbs in the Amaryllis family, subfamily Amaryllidoideae, native to Europe, North Africa, and Asia. There are also several Narcissus species that bloom in the autumn.

Notes:

-- It seems every year they come up they vary in color; not too sure if the narcissus bulbs cross pollinate with bees and insects, or it's just my imagination that every year they spread and seem to change in color and type?
