It really is a spectacular tree and fits in perfectly with the theme at the castle!

You're right, it could be that too. I guess you'll have to check the bark or the flowers to be sure. I think the foliage of A. pendula might be fragrant if crushed.

Thanks Dan! It may very well be. The only other one that I could find that looks similar is Acacia pendula. Thoughts?
