Description:

An orchid native to Colombia and Venezuela,where it can be found at elevations of 1800 up to 2500 mosl. A large terrestrial sometimes epiphytic plant with large, clustered, conical-pyriform, sulcate, slightly compressed psuedobulbs with 3 to 4, deciduous, apical, plicate, obovate or elliptical, obtuse leaves.
