Daddy Long-Leg

Can have long or Short legs, they can vary in colors (mostly dark colors). The Daddy long leg also known as harvestman is related to other spiders but is not the same. The daddy long legs live all around the world and are very common (besides places where it's cold all year round). Daddy long legs have a symbiotic relationship with other spiders. They will eat the other spiders eggs or even sometimes the other spider. This is an example of parasitism. They survive in places where it's cold by findin cover and building webs. They use people's houses or rocks for a domain. Daddy long legs reproduce by having sex. The male spider is able to live 1 year then it has sex and dies. The female however has sex and keeps living for about 3 hours. They have eggs and they take 2-30 weeks to hatch.

The daddy long leg has lots of predators. One of its biggest predators is human. We often get scared and kill them when really they are helpful to us. Other predators are lizards and birds. The daddy long leg eats mostly other spider eggs. It will also it small bugs and even sometimes other spiders. They can be found all offer the world. They are mostly found in dark damp places.
