This is a male Eastern Carpenter Bee, Xylocopa virginica. The white on the face and larger than average eyes are typical of males in this species. Also, carpenter bees have a shiny black abdomen (not visible in this photo), whereas bumble bees' abdomens are hairy. Hope this helps!
