Green Frog

Description:

These were discovered on an old logging trail/moose trail. 2-5 inches. streamlined; brown or green with 2 or three rows of large, irregular spaced, cream-bordered chocolate spots between prominent ridges at juncture of back and sides. Light strip on upper jaw.

Darn. Thanks for the correct ID. Green frogs are everywhere and look so different from one another.

A northern leopard frog would be a pale green all over with very obvious brown spots, and the dorsolateral fold is a golden color. Your frog has a dorsolateral fold the same color as the skin, and the skin is bronze with faint brown spots. All indicative of a green frog.
