The African Wild Dog is one of Africa's most endangered creatures, so it was thrilling to find this den of 8 six-week old pups in the Sabi Sands Game reserve. They were extremely active and playful, a joy to watch but a challenge to photograph!

Incredibly vibrant and beautiful!
Hi Daniele & Laura - they can be elusive indeed! Best places to see them include Kruger/Sabi Sands in South Africa, Chobe/Moremi in Botswana and Save Valley Conservancy in Zimbabwe. The puppies in their playfulness were attacking plants and this little guy was having a big contents with a small tree! Very amusing!
