I'am hapy as you can imagine, and to the things perfect in the nigth you give me the information my wife, that at the time doesn't now any thing photograph one, that apears with the first's rain fall's,so they continue here, one more winter pass by and there they are again:)we never go to search for them to spott,we have a "ligth" way, observ, not disturb :) when you have infos about the species,or something you think that i should know or do to make them saffer, feel free to post me,i'll be forever gratefull to you because of this:)

Telma, they live in my backyard since i remember living here(more than 20 years:)we rarely touch them , in this spotting, the dogs where barking to him(her) and we take it in to the glass to put the dogs inside and release the animal as far as possible, but allways in the backyard.from now one ,i'll have all the careful you talk about and i'll tried to mantain the habitat for them,i have spread by the yard some stones and bricks making holes to provide sheltter to frogs ,sluggs, etc...
so i have a population of a endangered species in my back yard ,incridble, thanks very much for the information Telma :)this area where i live is a very weet place, ancient farm fields that where harvested in late spring and summer and staied completly weet during the autum and winter.
Thanks again Telma

This species is really endangered by the fungus Chytridiomicosis, it's in danger of desapearing. so if you know a place where to find them please be sure to take all the security mesures:

Desinfect all your camp material (boots, nets, boxes, etc) with Vircon or Alchool
Use gloves while touching the animals
Don't touch more than one indivial without desinfect hands or change gloves
Don't move the animals from their origin place

Thank you and please be carefull
let's protect our anphibians =)
