Arboreal Salamander

Aneides lugubris

Description:

Light in color, with tiny yellow specks along it's neck along the sides. Eyes protrude up so the skin on the back of the eyes are blue. Tail is not flat like most other Salamanders. Almost pointed.

Habitat:

Moist shade almost rain forest but in a city. Garden forest setting.

Notes:

Photo taken just outside the front of my work. Almost step on it because it wasn't moving. After I took the pictures and was going to pick it up and move it, it wiggled it's way to the garden.
