Spotted while walking up in the mountains on Koh Samui

Notes:

The females of this unusual large firefly remain in larval form even when adult. They are terrestrial, feeding on snails at night, and are capable of producing light from the tip of their abdomen. Males are fully winged. - Ch'ien C. Lee
