Small male solitary bee with short tongue, very long antennae. Not sure who this little fella is. Any ideas?
Foraging on a dandelion (Taraxacum) at a neighborhood park.
Thanks Juan and Karen. I agree that this is a male Halictid. I'm thinking Lasioglossum now. He was a metallic black, but definitely not green. And quite small - maybe 7mm without antennae.
this is a male Halictid bee, maybe Augochlorella genus
Agapostemon sp. perhaps?http://bugguide.net/index.php?q=search&a...
