Description:

Small male solitary bee with short tongue, very long antennae. Not sure who this little fella is. Any ideas?

Habitat:

Foraging on a dandelion (Taraxacum) at a neighborhood park.

Thanks Juan and Karen. I agree that this is a male Halictid. I'm thinking Lasioglossum now. He was a metallic black, but definitely not green. And quite small - maybe 7mm without antennae.

this is a male Halictid bee, maybe Augochlorella genus
