Eurema hecabe hecabe
This one was found late in the afternoon in a small park with lots of green plants, very little flowering plants however. It looks very similar to cloudless sulfur butterflies I have seen on both the east and west coasts of the U.S.

Hi Joe, this is a Common Grass Yellow or Two-spot Grass Yellow, Eurema hecabe hecabe. The 2 spots are the ones seen near the base of the underside forewing. :)
Mona, never mind. I took a look at some of the other photos I took of this one. The antennae are not joined in the first photo I posted. It just looks like it in that picture. Joe
Thanks Mona. I took a look at some three spot grass yellow butterflies pics. One difference I note is this one's antennae. It's unusual, at least for me, to see this type of antennae on a butterfly. I am by no means an expert though. Joe
