Coyote

Description:

In size and shape the coyote is like a medium-sized Collie dog, but its tail is round and bushy and is carried straight out below the level of its back.

Habitat:

Coyotes have extended their range such that they can be found throughout the Americas. This one was spotted in the Sonoran Desert in Arizona.

Notes:

He was hunting the quail and dove that frequent the feeders we put out for the birds.
