I think it might be a baby Green Frog, as I have many in my little pond.
I think it has a better chance of being a green.
Actually, he wasn't eating anything, just hopping along beside my pond. Could very well be a Leopard, we have a lot of them here as well as Greens.
Was he eating something weird when you found him? If so, it might be a baby Leopard frog. (Rana sphenocephala)
