Remnant wet mesic sand prairie in the Chicago Lake Plain (Calumet region), dominated by blue-joint grass, prairie cord grass, rushes and sedges, water plantain, swamp milkweed, blue-fruited dogwood, Spirea alba. (And purple loosestrife.)
