Description:

Decorative, landscaping tree. Green throughout summer, turning slowly during late fall to red/burgundy leaves. Bare throughout winter.

Habitat:

Suburban, used as a decorative tree. Somewhat short, small, compared to deciduous local maple trees.

Notes:

This particular tree 'turns' after most other trees have. The leaves become very deep red/burgundy and nearly dry before falling.
