Description:

Black and white small bird found throughout Australia. Also called a black and white fantail or flycatcher, and other names. it's call includes a beautiful chatter. Willie Wagtails are active birds, building cup-shaped nests of muddy substance, spider's webs and fine grasses and feathers tightly woven and positioned on a horizontal branch. Birds of the north are considered to be slightly smaller than birds found in the southern parts of the country.

Habitat:

Found in open country and forests.
