lori.tas, I searched in the site you posted and I think you are half right. Stolas paranensis's frontal plate looks more like my spot's then the festiva's. Aniway, Parana is my home state, so... Paranensis 4ever !!! (hehehe)

This is a tortoise beetle, Family Chrysomelidae; tribe Cassidinae.

The upturned edge of the shell makes think it's a type of tortoise beetle. It's is truly beautiful.
