Slime Mold

Description:

Small brown bead heads appox 1-2mm in size , clear , streaky attachment to the wood ...also on same rotting log , some dryer ones , almost like they popped and very fine light orange fibres surrounding top , also notable difference is taller in the second phase.

Habitat:

moist rotting/decaying tree log , loose bark , forest

Notes:

rain the past week - 2 days of sunshine before spotting Westmorland Falls reserve, Caveside
