Description:

The chameleons are arboreal creatures, which means they live in trees. It is because of this that they are usually dark green so they could well camouflaged with their surroundings. chameleons need water and sunlight for survival. They rarely come down from the tree except to spawn and search for prey

This is not really a chameleon (they don't occur in SE Asia) but an agamid lizard (Agamidae). The common names of Bronchocela jubata include maned forest lizard and green crested lizard.
