Glow worm

Arachnacamphor luminosa

Description:

The web lines hanging down behind the spider web are the lines from a glow worm. These lines hang down to catch insects which are attracted to the light which the worm gives off.

Habitat:

Generally in dark wind free areas. Wind free is probably far more important than any other factor.
