Red Back Salamander

Plethodon cinereus

Description:

Red Back Salamander

Notes:

I found two of these in the middle of my driveway on a warm rainy night. They were relocated to a leafy area of my back yard so they wouldn't get run over. I believe that the second one is a color variation of this type of salamander. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.
