Spotting

Description:

Pale pink, many small....bulbs emanating in a rosette.

Habitat:

Forest floor, growing from the dirt.

Notes:

I'm not completely sure that this is a fungus, but I'm not sure what else it would be. Found at Barbara A. Beiser Field Station.

Looks like it could also be the fruiting bodies of a slime mold. Superficially similar to fungi but completely different kingdoms.

these look like Lily bulblets ....... did you mark the location to check again at a later date?
