I thought it was a leaf. When I looked closer it looks like it has legs. It's in my ponytail palm. Any ideas?

I believe this is a chrysalis (pupa) of a butterfly spcies. Thw white "legs" are actually silk lines that attach the chrysalis to the plant. I moved this spotting to the Arthropods category.
