Earwig and eggs

Description:

An earwig I found under a toolbox that had been sitting on the ground for several weeks with eggs. They are located right next to a small hole in the ground and she seemed to be trying to find a place to move them. She shuffled them around, piled them up, and picked up and moved individual eggs. She spent a bit of time digging in the hole, too. The eggs stuck together like cooked rice.

Notes:

Pictures taken with iPhone 5.
