Small cicadas

Description:

A species of small cicadas. Common and abundant in this resort. Adults being only about 25mm in body length, wings about 35mm from thorax to tip. A lot of colors on their boldies - maroon red, green, black, brown..... Their wings are very long in comparison to it's body.

Habitat:

A type of palm tree (coconut maybe) in the seaside Mimpian Jadi Resort, Tuaran, Sabah, Malaysia.

Notes:

This cicada species is the most common species of cicada in this resort, I can find them almost anywhere near lights at night. To bad I used to much camera flash. >>>Map accuracy : 100m diameter.
