Common Worm Snake

Ramphotyphlops braminus

Notes:

They look like earthworms but on close observation you can notice their dry shiny scales. They also move like snakes. They are known to feed on the eggs and larvae of termites and ants. They mostly live in soft soils underneath rocks and debris. They come out only when there is a rain which floods their habitat.
