Giant Forest Hog

Description:

The Giant Forest Hog is the largest species of pig in the world (weighing up to 275kg) and was also one of the last large mammals in the world to be discovered. They mostly occur in rainforests but sometimes can be found in savannas of tropical Africa. This was a mother and piglet photographed in the Aberdares National Park, Kenya.

Actually pumba was a warthog... :)....was my favorite Disney film.

Fun fact: the common pig when released or escaped into the wild will become feral within 3-4 weeks. They grow hair, tusks, etc. Only animal known to go from completely domestic to feral in that manner so quickly.
