Dead Carniolan Honey Bees

Apis mellifera carnica

Description:

Brown-grey coloured, very good-working bees

Habitat:

Slovenia, areas around

Notes:

They're native here, but you can find them elsewhere (Austria etc). When I went for a walk with my dog I found them lying dead at the entrance of their hive. Very sad, but the way of life.

yes, there were quite a lot of them, but so many more that stayed alive, so it's ok! :)

Awww... How sad for the bees, and a lot of them passed away too.
