This is the rare "Great White Heron", a subspecies of Great Blue Heron found only in southern Florida and the Caribbean Islands. Easily confused with the Great Egret, but note the heavy bill, pale lores, and head/breast plumes. Great Egrets only have plumes on their backs. Nice find!
