Elacatinus evelynae
Photo take a t -40 ft in a Caribbean reef. Cleaning gobys has a very specific diet of client derived parasitic isopods, client mucus . The cleaning gobies significantly preferred ectoparasites over mucus, which contrasts with cleaner wrasses. Cleaning gobys has a very special selection in clients having a cleaning symbiosis whit many species for preference predator fishes.
Cleaning gobys were found predominantly in male / female pairs at cleaning stations located almost exclusively on coral heads. His cousin Elacatinus prochilo it can be found on coral heads and sponges too.
