It was aproximatelly 20 cm in lenght and 13 tall. It was resting in the ruins in this area of Turkey. As the site is sourrounded by open areas and natural landscape I guess it a wild animal. But I'dont know the neither the scientific or common name,

I found this Turtle in the Ruins of the Ancient City of Ephesus in Turkey.

Hi DiegoAlfonsoRosa
In order to make sure that PN provides the accurate information of spottings published on it, I took a liberty to curate your spotting, providing the ID, few keywords and some references. I also included it in corresponding PN Missions.
This is Hermann's tortoise, a common terrestrial reptile from Mediterranean.
Hope you don't mind my intervention.
Cheers
