Bougainvillea glabra
Bougainvillea glabra is an angiosperm that belongs to the Nyctaginaceae family. It is a spreading shrub with short, thin thorns that bend at the ends. The thinner branches extend in different directions. Foliages are elliptical or oval in form, with the broadest point in the center of the lamina. The flowers are tiny, cream-colored, tube-shaped, and constantly bloom throughout the branch, covered by pointy red bracts (NParks | Bougainvillea Glabra (Red Bracts), n.d.).
It is found in Zamboanga City, Philippines, with tropical weather. It is located in areas exposed to sunlight, and they mostly grow as a group.
