Next season I intend to get pictures of the winged adult forms because its so hard to find any info on most of these lerps.

These are just wonderful Martin! As a horticulturalist, it pains me to have to do battle with scale insects who are just doing their thing but can really make a fine mess of some plants, orchids in particular. Thankfully, I've never seen a scale insect as beautiful as this shell like creation! Great photos of a difficult subject re the tenant too. Thank you.
