Description:

Plant about 60 cm tall. stalk is red turning green. Images of buds were taken on 3/27. Images of flowers on 4/24.

Habitat:

Partial shade under Oak tree along trail at Daley Ranch. This is not native.

Thank you Craig, I'll see if I can find it in Calflora. I hike there a lot so when I see flowers, I'll add them.

Reminds me of Cow Parsley - Anthriscus sylvestris but tough to be sure without flowers. I'd be very surprised if its not in the Apiaceae.
