Smooth red bark, seemed if it was almost ripped off.
Found at La Purisima Mission in Lompoc, CA.
Lifer! I don't know the species, so if anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated. In my reference link to the right is a listing of Arctostaphylos species, but I haven't come across much that looks like mine. Perhaps Arctostaphylos glauca?
