Bufo bufo
Yes, you are right. The problem was, that I made that image out of photographic interests, so I didnt make any pictures of his back....and it was made 6 months ago, so I can`t remember any details. Next time I will make more pictures for a better identification!
You're quite welcome. It is often difficult to ID a species from a single photo and often the photographer has their memory to go on, whereas a photo viewer does not. As a result, I sometimes make suggestions, as I did in this instance, but believe you are in a better position to make the final judgment. FoTony also believes it is Bufo bufo. Nice photo by the way!
Thank you for these links!
I looked at many species now and it seems to be the European Toad, when I watch the other species there are no similarities. And its also the most common one.
If someone could disabuse me from this, go for it!
Hmmm... There seems to be little that I can find on the Internet about German toads. I did find this website on French amphibians: http://www.herpfrance.com/amphibian/ , which might be of some help. Perhaps a better resource would be http://www.herp.it/.
I also thought of the european toad, but there are so many possible colors in one species...plus there are so many different species, so I was hoping that someone knows it exactly. Perhaps I only call it "Toad"!
Take a look at the European Toad (Bufo bufo) at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_toad... and see what you think. I'm not familiar with toads in this area so am guessing...
