Spotting

Notes:

Fish net, entangled in coral reef.. >_< from a commercial fishing vessel who attempted to fish on the reef. In order to avoid being apprehended by marine police they dropped their nets instead of reeling it back to their boat, this is in order for them to save time and give way for their escape. Efforts are on going to remove the nets from the reef

Hi Rex. I admire your advocacy, which is similar to mine (I concentrate on the Davao Gulf). However, as a ranger on Project Noah, I feel it is my duty to ask you to submit information that will enlighten the site's users with regards the marine life you're submitting.

For example, for this spotting, pls keep the scientific name blank if you're not aware of the coral's scientific name. If you'd like to draw attention to the fact that this coral is in danger, that would be more appropriate in the Notes field. You can advance your advocacy through this.

Project Noah aims to become a highly informative resource on all living things, that's why we must adhere to conventions as much as possible, so that people who need to research on, say, coral will be able to do so effectively.

Thanks for joining Project Noah, and I hope you'll find it an effective tool in advancing your campaign to protect our coral reefs!
