White Crappie

Pomoxis annularis

Description:

The White Crappie is white, green, and yellow. They are fairly small and can get up to 6-11" fully grown.

Habitat:

Crappies live in areas around the United States and Canada. They typically prefer fairly warm water.

Notes:

This was caught by my boyfriend while fishing at Newport News Park. We, of course, threw it back!
