A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Araneidae
Thank you Lee. You can edit your existing spottings to include the mission. Enjoy your weekend!
Thanks Cindy for your active enthusiasm. I joined the mission. I will contribute towards documenting.
I'm looking forward to it! BTW, there's a mission I started called Southern California Wildlife that you may be interested in. You can join at http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/7964.... When you add a "wild" spotting from the area (any plant, animal, fungi, etc) you can select the mission on the right side of the screen. For those already added, you can edit the spotting to include the mission.
This helps document what's in the area. It's also a good reference for those of us adding spottings that don't know what they are. Someone may have already added it.
That is an awesome fascination. Thank you for your help with this arachnid.. I'll post a picture of one of my spider pets. :D
Oh goodness no :) I'm a spider lover and have learned a lot on here and various reference material. I hope you enjoy PN as much as I have!
This is a type of Orb Weaver spider from the family Araneidae. Unfortunately I can't narrow it down without an image of the other side. The "belly" also has a pattern to help narrow it down.
